Brother-MFC-J985DW.txt 2/5/2016 10/17/2018 Brother MFC-J985DW A MultiFunction Inkjet Printer, scanner, FAX, Copier This, in MY personal and Professional opinion, is the cheapest AIO printer to operate. I have no stake in what printer you buy and could care less. This printer is my Favorite BEST BUY $ 199.99 (late 2016) AMAZON PRIME This item: MFC-J985DW Inkjet All-in-One Color Printer with INKvestment $ 169 (triple ink supply)/ NOTE: You can buy it WITH 3 sets of INK (supposedly 2-years supply. I did get it with the three sets of ink, At SIX MONTHS of usage, I AM STILL on MY FIRST SET OF INK. The ink cartridges are bigger than on my Canon Printer and the Brother printer consumes less ink than my Canon. Also, The Brother printer does not "continually" clean the print heads (or whatever the Canon is doing, a few minutes, when it should be idle and doing nothing. Note Printer does NOT handle font sizes below a '9' very well. I have almost never printed using a smaller font size. The pictures, while not suberb, ARE AT LEAST AS GOOD AS MY Canon PIXMA MP990, (6-color printer whose red was sometimes not accurate) which was noted for good pictures - hence the "PIXMA". I have NOT investigated the life span of the printer inks. The SCANNER in my Brother MFC-J985dw is GOOD, although slower than my much more expensive Canon PIXMA MP990. The COPIER function in my Brother MFC-J985dw is GOOD, although slower than my much more expensive Canon PIXMA MP990. I don't use the fax. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE HAD WITH THE BROTHER MFC-J985DW PRINTER, is NONE https://www.walmart.com/ip/Brother-MFC-J985dw-Work-Smart-All-in-One-Multifunction-Printer-Copier-Scanner-Fax-Machine/51554963?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227039297616&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=97659787834&wl4=pla-221811135634&wl5=9009729&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=online&wl12=51554963&wl13=&veh=sem $ 149.99 FREE 2-day shipping Brother MFC-J985DW Review & Rating | PCMag.com http://www.pcmag.com/review/345055/brother-mfc-j985dw - Copyright 2016-2018 David Woodsmall - http://www.woodsmall.com/
